He doesn't especially want Akira to come home from school to find him half-dead and made of ice, but Shujin isn't in a location that would be especially easy to linger near... He doesn't want to go with the thought of being treated as his parole officer, either, and trying to sneak into the school to hide out in the library doesn't seem ideal, either.]
